Change the contract to ruin my day

My internet has not been working for the past 4 days and I called you customer center last night (I spoke to Zama who was helpful but unable to assist). It seems that my subscription has been changed. During the upgrade call I received I was told I would have the same contract terms and conditions but would save R40 per month. This is not true, they have changed my contract.

Prior to the call with the upgrade department I had an MTN 3Gig 3G unlimited package. Basically I had 3 Gigs of data at a high speed and then throttled unlimited internet, all for R299 per month. My 'upgraded account' has a 3 Gig cap. So once I have used the 3 Gigs I then have to pay for additional internet (apparently I have exceeded a R500 limit and my account has been frozen).

This is ridiculous and unacceptable. There is absolutely no way I would have accepted a limited internet contract. As you will be able to see from correspondence with other upgrade staff I highlighted the need for unlimited internet.

Last night Zama told me he would contact me just after noon today with feedback. It is now 16:00 before a long weekend and I still have no internet.
