On 11 November I reported my office's Telkom lines were not working.
I received the usual SMS advising me that the fault was being attended to! One month later and still no service! so phoned the Customer (NO) Service center. From a cellphone of course. After a 15 minute wait and having my ears bombarded with distorted music and various services I could subscribe to I was told by a consultant that the decision had been taken on the 15th November not to replace the cable that had been - ever! No communication from Telkom to advise of this of course and of course my boss is still being billed for a service that doesn't exist! The Telkom website also has a problem as everytime I enter my email address I get sent back to the logon page with an error report. This is absolutely shocking service but that is only what can be expected from a company that has the monopoly. A big thumbs down to Telkom an absolute disgrace.
