NO SERVICE - NO FEEDBACK FROM TELKOM

I reported a Telkom landline out of order at the beginning of November on behalf of a friend of mine, "Mrs. R. Storey, Fernleigh Road, Sunningdale" She was without her Telkom service for the whole month of November, the fault WAS FIXED AND HER SERVICE RESTORED ON 03/12/2013. Alas, her line went down again on 09/12/2013 and is still down to date. She has had no feed back from Telkom advising what the fault is and when her service will be restored!!!
Mrs. Storey is a diabetic and lives on her own, what would happen if she has a medical emergency and cannot get hold of anyone for assistance - come on TELKOM, surely it cannot take this long to fix the fault and her service restored, plus a credit for the time without her landline!!!
