On 18 November I went to the store to report my phone last and get a new SIM card.
I received my new SIM card and was told it would be activated in 24 hours.
After 24 hours the SIM card was still not activated. I went back to the store to report this.
I was told that my account is suspended due to high usage.
I told them that my SIM card isn't active so how can I have used it to incur a R3800 bill?
There was content charged to my account after I had reported my phone lost. Greenstone said they would reverse the charge and investigate. I have spent countless hours in the store and on the phone trying to get an answer as to when I can expect this to be done. It's been almost a month and the charge still reflects on my account. I don't think it is reasonable to keep customers waiting this long.
If the man, who issued me with the SIM card, done his job properly and blocked my old sim and activated my new sim, then this could all have been avoided.
