I am deeply disappointed since 8ta changed over to Telkom mobile their service went out the door! I have paid an amount of R670.00 via EFT on the 23/11/2013 on my Telkom Mobile account. The actual amount that was due to be paid on 30/11/2013 was R526.40. On the morning of 30/11/2013 the debit order for R526.40 went off my bank account. I immediately phoned Telkom mobile customer care to enquire as to why the debit order went off as I have already paid R670.00. The operator put a refund request through on case number 7142633 and assured me the money would be paid into my bank account within 7 days. Since the 03/12/2013 I am trying to sort this out. After numerous e-mails and phone calls to the customer care line I now have to hear that they cannot refund me as my account will show in arrears! And that they have decided to take my payment of R670.00 for the amount due 30/12/2013 and I am now in credit with R138.20 and would i like them to refund me? how can they just do with my money what they want to without my concent. I still havnt spoken to a manager as i was holding on for more than 3 minutes. i gave them my alternate contact number but they dont phone me back.
