Every few months I complain about the ADSL speed of my connection. Telkom is good at reacting to the complaint on hellopeter, but the service remains shockingly below par.
I am paying for a 4MB/S line in Centurion. Recently they were upgrading these to 10MB/S.
To date, the performance is worse than my Vodacom cell phone connection and well below 1MB/S.
It seems that on a complaint, they do something to fix it back at the exchange and it works for another 2 or 3 weeks at a reasonable speed before it slows down again.
This is blatant non delivery of a paid for service.
Other service providers apparently reset the line every few days to fix this type of problem but moving my account is a nightmare and will leave me without the service for weeks.
