I cancelled two of my vodacom contracts recently, or so I thought. I filled in the required documents, made the payments I was told to make with the correct reference numbers on the 25th of October. More than a month later I am still getting billed for the two contracts I supposedly cancelled. When I phoned Vodacom to ask what the problem is, I was told Chantelle Cholwic was the one who handled the cancellation and just never did what she was supposed to. As soon as my remaining contracts run out with Vodacom, I am moving to MTN. Opening a contract is a piece of cake and takes about 15 minutes, cancelling one takes more than two months and is a nightmare. The service was just pathetic and I couldn't help losing my temper. When a line gets dropped (thanks vodacom) the operator doesn't phone you back either so you never speak to the same one twice which just adds to the frustration. Pathetic, just pathetic.
