I have been a Vodacom customer since 1999 and in October this year I upgraded my contract and had a specific phone (iphone 5) that I was looking for but provided that it is within my contract. I upgraded over the phone and I only picked up from my statement a handset instalment of R282 pm amounting to R6, 768 over my 24 month contract which I was not made aware of on upgrade. I raised this as a query with Vodacom on the 25th of November and I received reference S3-T6D2X-X1CUU and was told I will get the response within 48-hours. As I am writing this today it is almost 240 hours later no response and today when I called in to make a follow up I was told that they can not help me as another department is still working on it and when I asked when should I then expect the response the answer I got was "I don't know" and she could not even provide me with a person that can help me. I told her that in all my years as a customer at Vodacom this is the most service I have ever received. I need someone who will attend to my query, that's all.
