I applied to have my line cancelled as i was moving my business to a new address which has an existing line.
after going to my local telkom store they told me this had to be done telephonically. i was instructed to email a letter with my id document attached instructing them to cancel the line, which i did on the 7 of september.
i then received a call on the 9th of september telling me that my account was in arrears, i explained that it was supposed to be cancelled, the gent told me that he would look into it and get back to me, which of course he never did.
today i received an sms notifying me that i have been handed over. i called the helpline and after being on holed for 14 minutes decided to give up. i am so frusted i dont know what i can do to rectify the problem, it seems my emails do not help the situation.
if anybody can help me it would be apprciated.
