6 weeks later and still no phone. Ridiculous!

This is really becoming ridiculous. I handed my iPhone 5 in at Cell C Festival mall on 22 October because the on/off button stopped working and it was still under guarantee. I was told it would take 2 to 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I phoned, was told the phone isn't there and made a report on hellopeter. Later that day (18 Nov) I was told I could collect the phone (which had been at the store since 5 Nov according to the waybill). It wasn't repaired because they couldn't access the software as Find my iPhone was activated (their lame excuse). I told them it isn't a software problem but a hardware problem but turned Find my iPhone off so they couldn't use that excuse again. I booked it in again immediately (on 18 November) and asked them to elevate it and made another report on hellopeter on 28 Nov after only receiving an SMS on 25 Nov with reference no CLC986463 that it had been handed to a technician for assessment. Since then I haven't had any feedback and have been without a phone (which I keep paying for) for 6 weeks now with still no light at the end of the tunnel.
I should have heeded my friends' warnings about porting to Cell C. Look where I am now...
