I had an account for an uncapped 3G dongle at R289 per month on a 24 months contract. I went to cancel it instore at the Weskus mall and was told I must come into the store again to cancel it on the last day of November 2013. I later found out by someone who also has the same dongle contract as myself and they told me that they were told they could cancel it over the phone. So I phoned and was told I was invoiced already which was on the 20th of November, and they said my last payment would be at the end of December because I was already invoiced. I was told by the person on the phone that if I had done it before the 20th of November that it would have been stopped, and they informed me that the contract I had was stopped yesterday on the 28th.
So I tried to cancel it and was told the wrong information about when to cancel it by and now because of useless staff I must now pay for an extra month. I was also told that the contract too has changed from an uncapped to a limited data based contract which I did not want nor was told by the person on the phone of how much I would be paying for this new contract! I did not want a new contract I wanted the one I had CANCELED!
