Vodacom still does not take any responsibility

Vodacom, (Ebrahim) approved a sponsored sms code for Life Choices NPO. We aimed to use this as part of a campaign we are running to stay open. Due to a change in management and regulations we had to wait for 28 days to receive this number. This we understood and were willing to comply with. However 28 days have passed and still nothing, when we tried to make contact we were unable to speak to the appropriate person. As a result the 28 days have passed and no number or feedback has been given. A response to an earlier Hello Peter complaint by Vodacom was simply blaming the ex manager (Ebrahim), and stating that the only way forward is to reprocess the application. This will take even longer. Life Choices is on short timeline and are relying on this number as a way to gain funds to remain open. We are on the brink of closing our doors in the next 10 DAYS and do not have the luxury to carry on with the same drama that Vodacom persists in giving us. The fate of our organisation and essentially the sterling work we do in the cape flats in the hands of Vodacom. Ironically their campaign is about giving a happy but they cannot even give a free SMS number.
