12 Nov: Upgraded contract with Given Shao (excellent experience). 13 Nov: 09h40: Given Shao phones me to confirm everything. Requested "white" phone (Galaxy S4 Smartphone) and delivery for 15 Nov (although no guarantees). 18 Nov: Phoned "follow up" dept - can't see that any upgrade was done. Phoned Upgrades, Melissa confirms upgrade was done by Given. Phoned follow ups again, Sizwe confirmed phone is at wharehouse to be collected by courier. He says if I hear nothing by Wednesday, I can phone him back personally. In total, spent? 2 hours on phone. 20 Nov: Phoned follow-ups - can't see anything on the system. Cannot speak to Sizwe as "he is new in department". Transferred me to Upgrades, spoke to Given again. He apologises for this experience. Phones me back to say that there was a "system error" and order wasn't sent through. Wants to do order all over again. How can one department see order on system and other department not. If order is done today, when will I ever get the phone. I have 4 contracts with Cell C. Given then suggests to cancel everything and go to Cell C Shop. I work in a call centre and know all about customer care and service. Cell C know NOTHING! Disgusted!
