Easy to take money but hard at paying out claims

Im actually very angry at this insurance company.
The charger of my tablet got damaged on the 28th October 2013 and becuase the charger cost about R250-R300, i could not afford to replace it immediately. i then left the tablet at home and used my sim card in my son's BlackBerry until pay day of November. my house was broken into and my tablet.

now they are refusing to pay out the claim becuase i last used the tablet in October. my question is this. was i supposed to be out of contact just because i did not have a charger for my tablet although my son has a phone that i could use in the meantime until i got a charger for the tablet? or was i supposed to go buy another sim card and phone the whole world of a new number until month end?

this is nonsense, day light and i am not going to let this go..im going to post this on all social net work sites for people to know the kind of these people are and i will also take this up with the OMBUDSMAN and the South African Insurance Association.
