No replacement for faulty handset

My Xperia Z which was my upgrade in August died due to hardware failure. After visiting Tech Services I was given a "coupon" to get a new device from Randpark Ridge. Tech services phoned confirming stock. Upon arrival. THERE WAS NO STOCK. However I was told that for R2000 extra I can get the new Xperia Z1.

This is unacceptable. I use my mobile everyday not just for personal use but for professional use as well. My device was faulty and this is out of my control yet MTN cannot give me a new device without me having to pay for something I am already paying for?!

None of the branches in the West Rand area have stock of the Xperia Z and I am out of the country tomorrow. This has taken 5 days to get to this point. The service levels are unacceptable and NOBODY can give me a straight answer.

I have been waiting since 9:30AM for a call back from Lee with other options and still NOTHING.

After 9 years I will not be renewing my contract, if this is how much their clients mean to them I would be better off at another service provider.

My last report on MTN went unresolved and it took 4 weeks to facilitate an upgrade. DISGUSTING
