I lodged a complaint a couple of months ago regarding the same issue of false advertising. Cell C charges 99c per Mb for out of data bundle rates and not the 15c per Mb advertised. I had a lady called Blanche from Cell C respond to my complaint the last time and promised me that it would be remedied. It has not and Cell C continue to charge 99c per Mb for out of data bundle rates.
I am disgusted to say the least that they promised that this would be resolved and they have not done so.
Does anyone know the Ombudsmans details for this industry so I can take this matter further?
