I took out a new data contract today in store. There i was told that my card is activated and that it was RICCA'd. This evening my card does not work and after phoning 1555, then 808 and then being transferred I get told that the card has not been RICCA'd.
So my card can't work and this is not acceptable, now it needs to be reported and then RICCA'd. I want this contract cancelled and voided as I was put under the impression that all the activation that was required has been done.
My call to MTN had the following Ref # 106251804
I will be returning the modem and the sim card tomorrow. I have 8 numbers on my account and this will be the first that I move to Vodacom. For a start they have better LTE coverage but due to loyalty and my longstanding relationship with MTN I chose to take out this new contract with them, to my regret.
I don't expect this service from MTN
