Lack of customer commitment

I have an iPhone 5 64gig which is about 6 months old. The phone has started to swell which from what I was told at an iStore will be a swollen battery & will probably result in a replacement phone seeing that SA doesn't service iPhones. I went to Vodacom repairs at Vodacom world & Fourways & was told that The phone needs to be booked in for assessment which i understand but my problem is that this process takes 14 days which I cant accept as I require the phone for work purposes (application programming) I then asked at both service centres if there is anyway to speed up this process, both are unwilling to even hold the discussion with me, I also phoned customer care & again unwilling to budge. I am willing to pay a premium to speed up the assessment, I understand that procedure must generally be followed but need to be able to talk to someone that will assist me & not just shut me down from the start. I think this is extremely poor service I have been a loyal customer for at least 15 odd years with a fairly high spend & think that a little more care can be taken in dealing with me. FYI Istore said they replace phones like this immediately, I regret not getting my phone from them
