I have a cell phone contract and used to have an internet contract at Vodacom. After the cancellation of my internet contract, the person at the call centre ensured me that the final deduction for my internet will be end of September. During the month of October I phoned the call centre again to just double check what about will be deducted off my account and then assured me that it will only be the cell phone contract amount and that the internet amount has been settled and I do not have to worry about it. End of October the amount for the cell phone AS WELL AS the internet got deducted off my account!!! I phoned them this morning and the first person I spoke to understood my complaint and told me he is putting me through to a different department to arrange the pay back of the internet amount. The second person I spoke to said I will not be able to get the money back and just apologized. When I asked her if I can speak to someone else (like a supervisor) she said that there isn't anyone I can speak to and all she can do is say sorry for what happened. SORRY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH and I want my money back. I have laid a complaint, but will have to wait and see what happens.
