I have a 8ta data contract which expired on 29 September. I provided all the requested documentation to the Retentions Department to terminate this account via a number of emails - the first of these with the completed forms was emailed to [Email Removed] on 2 September. Despite a number of follow up emails, the account has not been terminated and debit orders were processed at the end of September and October. I also visited the Telkom branch at Musgrave Centre and sought assistance from the consultant Feroza Moosa, who also sent a number of emails to terminate this account. To date, I have had no contact from the Retentions department.
After my last email, the manager of the Musgrave Branch Ivan Naidoo confirmed via email on 1/11/2013 "I have checked our systems today and your service 081537 9521 has not been cancelled as yet - despite Case 6851039 stating that Retentions would issue the same. I have emailed the manager of the section and await their feedback - I have asked for backdated cancellation to be issued, however if that cannot be done, I will request a refund for the months overcharged."
I have had no response to date and am totally frustrated by this.
