On 23 Oct 2013 (at 18:58) I sent myself an SMS from my other number but never received the SMS. So I decided to call the number, that is when I first realised that the number cannot receive calls/SMS, I got the following voice message: "The number you have called is not available on the MTN network" but I could and still can make outgoing calls.
I kept trying to call the number and kept getting the same message until on Monday (28 Oct 2013) I called 173 and I was told to dial some with lots of # and zeros then I will be able to make calls, I did that but the problem still persisted. I then called 173 once again, the person told me the very same thing (i.e. to dial that number again) but I told her that I have tried that and it did not work so she made me hold and then told me she would log a call to have this investigated and I should have a response within 24 to 48 hours.
48 hours passed and I sent an email to Customer Care (30 Oct 2013), two weeks have since passed and I still do not have any feedback/resolution.
