I took out a top-up 50 contract, for my daughter, who wanted a blackberry 9360 from Cell C. Three months later, the phone would not charge or switch on. So I Took it back to Cell C, who also could not repair it and sent a refurbished phone, which also could not charge after two weeks. Now this is where it gets tricky. I informed Edward, the repair consultant, that I do not want a REFURBISHED phone, to which he said that it would be REPLACED. My understanding is that a replacement phone would be NEW. Anything other than NEW, I consider to be a refurbished, is my understanding correct or not. Any feedback would be appreciated.
