I am an extremely unhappy MTN contract holder. I have 2 contracts with MTN and have been on the network for over 10 years. Spend over R 1000 a month with MTN. 1 of my data contracts expired in June and I gave MTN written 1 month notice. They fail to respond or acknowledge. After receiving a response contract continues as normal. Do not even try dial 808 and ask for cancellations as cancellations department will put you on hold for hours on end with no answer. I have tried that at least 10 times this month. You ask 808 to give them a msg they don't phone you back. MTN on Twitter doesn't even reply. I finally got them to cancel my contract and received reference number 7095333, advising it will be cancelled in October, following that I have received 2 bills. I call again like I did and they advise there was no cancellation and I have to go through this process which MTN have made impossible for customers! I am very unhappy with the service received and would like to be paid back from June as I have given written notice and nothing happens! FED UP NOW. I will give this another 1 week otherwise will revert to legal help should I get a further bill for that contract with no refund.
