I upgraded my due line from Voice to Data.
I chose a R69p/m MyGig 1 contract package. A sim swap was required. Upon doing the Sim Swap I requested the sales person to load an additional 1gig to my MONTHLY RECURRING package which cost R149 pm. I gladly accepted and went on my way.
No issues up to that point. Then coming close to billing time I needed an additional data package (once off) - Purchased it online (2x 1gig packages) and nothing happened. Called customer care and found out there was a lock on the line (after holding close to 10 mins whilst it was discussed with the "Tech Dep") I was reassured that someone would contact me within 24hours and that the data would be assigned accordingly, as the block which was on the account (voluntary call limit) was now raised. The funding was added to my monthly bill, however I have not received the 2gig
Now at reload time (1st of every month) only 1gig has been loaded to my number and not the additional 1gig as activated in store whilst doing the sim swap. In addition my account went up with R730 over night. Reference - 316963796 for last call. Promised to revert in 24 hours. Still not a word from them, and I always have to call!!!
