I never thought I would ever put a complaint on hellopeter about Telkom but here it is. In September Telkom ran a promo where you got 2gig of data to use over the weekend if you bought airtime of R150 or more between 23-27 Sep. I bought R150 airtime on the 24th & the 27th but received no data. I called Telkom the following week (week of the 30th Sep) & they told me they would look into it. To date I've received no feedback. Last night (30th Oct) I bought 500meg data for my son to use for school projects. I loaded the data between 6:30pm & 7pm, by 8:30pm the data was depleted. I called Telkom to see if they could tell me what happened to the data & they said that I started the connection at something to 7 and at 8:30 the data was used up. But while I was busy explaining to the agent that I monitor my data usage I was cut off. I called again & the same thing happened, I was cut off again. The reason I use Telkom is because Telkom is cheaper except for there out of bundle usage which is ridiculous (R1/meg). This is the first time this has happened & I'm not happy. How do I tell my son that the money/data his grandpa gave him is gone?
