3 January 2012 - I requested a service to be moved on the 7th of January for an employee who works from home - order nr 71469303A. I explained the urgency of the matter and the person at Telkom Paarl Mall said it wouldn't be a problem and even gave me a new telephone number.
- After many frustrating follow-up calls, installation was confirmed for Friday the 18th of Jan.
- The technician didn't arrive on Friday but phoned later to say he'll come on Saturday.
- The technician didn't come on Saturday as promised.
- After phoning and complaining to Telkom on Monday 21 January, a technician, Braam, arrived for the installation.
- Braam however refused to do the installation at the requested point in the building, but activated an existing point instead.
- Braam harassed the girl at the house to donate R50 to him.
- After complaining again to Telkom, a different technician pitched up on 25/1 and moved the line, but didn't activate the internet - he promised to return on 26/1.
- By today, after calling and visiting the Telkom shop at Paarl Mall, he still has not pitched and the ADSL line is still not active.
I'm supposed to be a "Premier" client but the service is everything but!
