I redeemed the 150VC minutes on the 23/10/2013 I even got a message to say "Congrats you have succesfully redeemed..." The date for expiry is 27/10/2013 and the message says that I can call between 13:00 and 15:59.
I had R29 airtime on my phone. The deal cost me R6. I sent one or two sms's but thats it. Then I phoned my mom who has a Vodacom number at 15:40 on 24/10/2013. I put the phone down at 15:46 exactly. I know this cause I watched the time for this special deal. I dialled *100# to check my balance just to make sure, to my surprise I had R7 left - this means that Vodacom charged me anyway! I was suppose to have around R20 on my phone left!!! Dont fall for Vodacoms "specials" - they charge you double anyway. Terrible! Seems like these companies have all the power and us the consumers loose every time.
