On the 10th of May I asked for the ADSl to be removed from our line and instead, our line gets cut off completely. We have spoken to Telkom 3 times this week. On Thurs the 13th we were told the line would be reinstated that same day. We are now able to receive calls but not make calls. This morning, Fri the 14th I was assured by Charmaine that l would be contacted by the person who has to reconnect at the exchange. In addition, somehow the ADSL that I cancelled has also been put back onto the line.
I have been without a working line for 5 days now thanks to TELKOM ERROR - not mine and not one person has apologised or actually fixed their own up. After the astounding inefficiency of this week I have a very low expectation that anybody remotely effective will contact me and sort this out, but I have to try something to get a working line...
