Vodacom
ACQUISITION DEPARTMENT ASKING FOR ABSURD DOCUMENTS

I am a permanent resident of South Africa and business owner. I have had my business for 3 years and now Vodacom is asking me for a business permit in order for me to have a R300 a month phone contract?? I just want to laugh out loud at such ignorance and incompetence.

So Mr Vodacom is putting himself above the law of the land - above the law of Home Affairs asking a Permanent Resident of South Africa to produce a Business Permit in order to get a phone contract? A Permanent Resident of South Africa doesn't need to produce such ridiculous document NOT EVEN TO BUY A 10 million rands house! I'm in the process of buying a house and I've been asked for a quarter of the documentation Vodacom has been asking me for!

You are all just a bunch of pathetic, ignorant people employing ignorant customer service advisers. I'm taking this further to identify the incompetent person who works at the acquisition department.

In addition, you can keep your cherished contract as I will not be spending a cent on the rubbish that Vodacom is. So far I pay 1, 000 rands a month on calls and I'd be happy to give that money to MTN from now on!
