I am waiting for my permanent residency now for almost 2 years. Every time we phone the home affairs call center
all they say is that its lying there waiting for approval! I had to now re-apply for my relative status twice otherwise they
will not grant my permanent status! I do not know how to speed this up or to get their attention to just wake up and proceed with my permit!! I want to buy a house, car etc in this country, but they are just delaying me to proceed with such things!
