I am with vodacom from 1989 and it is the first time I get this astronomical account from them. From 30/8/2013 when I had the phone call to say that my account is way out of usage. My account R17449.89 I went to the vodashop in east rand mall and ask them to stop it or block it. They gave me a number to phone which is 082155 Got ref no but still not satisfied went to vodaworld customer care and once again asked them to stop or block the simcard. Various people I spoke to gave ref. number and promises to phone back. I bought a pay as you go the 2nd Sept to avoid the bill till sorted out.
I told them my husband is 72years and is not computer literate and it is impossible for him to use to have contact with his family. Dylan from account department offered a discount but still not satisfied. The Itemized bill is astronomical like data use of 10 hours 12 hours data use. I was fighting like any thing. They did a system check and a company in Brakpans name came up all the time. I am still responsible for the account. It is impossible for a household to run a account like that esspecially if my husband is the nanny for our one year old grand child.
