Vodacom
Removal of unauthorized parts

On the 28th of August, I booked my Galaxy Note N7000 in for repair (signal issues) at Vodacom Zevenwacht Mall.

On the 3rd of September I received a call from a young lady stating that the repair cost would be R500.00. But she was unable to give me specific details as to what exactly this R500.00 entails.

On receiving my phone on the 7th of October, I got informed that R300.00 of the R500.00 is for a new battery as Vodacom Repair does not work with generic parts.

Now I get told that my BRAND NEW battery (R250.00 including postage) has been disposed off.

Someone at either the two branches should have informed me about the battery, either at book in, OR on phoning me with the quote.

I demand my battery back OR a complete refund for my battery @ R250.00
