Mtn
Abuse of debit orde

I gave MTN written instruction to cancel my contract on 9 August 2013, the date of my contract expiration, during May 2013. I got a call from their retention department confirming that I wanted my contract to be cancelled. I confirmed this and I requested that the number gets transferred to prepaid after it is cancelled. The lady I spoke to said that to transfer my number, I must call them on the day that the contract expires. On 9 August, I decided that I had no use for the number anymore and didn't call. I noticed then that MTN credited my account cellphone as usual on 20 August. When I queried this, the RUDE delinquent in retentions told me, "You were intructed to call us on 9 August! " MTN, you don't instruct me ANYTHING. I got the contract cancelled and they left me with R10 airtime, as I expected. I got a statement saying that I owed nothing, however, they still debit my bank account with the inflated post contract monthly figure! I emailed MTN to instruct them to refund the amount and all I got in return was that they would contact me within 72 hours. 120 hours later, I wait...
