Unable to Port Numbe

I applied for a contract with telkom mobile with request that my current cell number be ported. Before recieving my phone I changed my contract. After changing i was told that the number i owned can not be recycled. The entire point of porting, is to keep my current number. I have spoken to several people and called the call centre so many times, only to be cut off or directed to people who can not help. It seems that telkom is completely ignoranty and has no clue on how to recycle numbers. I am starting to regret my decision with choosing telkom mobile as a service provider as I have been waiting and stil not yet recieved my phone but already experiencing so many difficulties. I am appalled at their poor service and their inability to re-use my number. It seems that telkom mobile is willing to lose valuable customers as I will be engaging in another service provider if nothing is done about this problem very soon!
