STEER WELL CLEAR OF IBURST ISP

Recently upgraded my contract to a CellC 3GB/Month 3G dongle. Within the first 7 days tried to cancel the contract due to obtaining speeds of less than 30KB's. Numerous emails to retentions department was simply ignored. Managed to sort the speed issue myself eventually after many months and now the modem packed up. iBurst not willing to replace it even thought the contract still has 12 months to go. Wants me to buy a new one from them for R799 even though the stuff goes for R150 at CNA or Incredible Connection. They're even refusing to repair the broken one even though it broke 2 months short of the 1 year ANY DEFECTS warranty. Call centre staff has a very bad attitude. My only other alternative now is to buy out the remainder of my 1 year contract to get away from these people. I want nothing more to due with them. Their service and attitudes towards solving genuine issues is sickening. ANYONE SEEKING AN ISP SHOULD DEFINITELY STEER CLEAR OF IBURST WIRELESS. Unfortunately once they have you on a 24 month contract you are stuffed should you ever experience, like in my case, issues with a service not PERFORMING AS ADVERTISED.
