Well, what can I say??? It was too good to be true. Having had a contract with Altech Autopage for - 8 years. I have finally decided to cancell my contract as my bill was getting extremely high, and Altech Autopage was charging me for services that I did not even register for eg. my pro account. Furthermore I called the call centre to query the process of cancelling my account, when the consultant put me through to the upgrades department. I then spoke to the consultant who advised that he would give me a special discount on the rates and that I could downgrade my package from the weekender (R135) to the Top Up (R99) with the Nokia Lumia 520. He also advised that the contract would start effective the 01/10/2013. To my surprise I contacted them yesterday and I am still on my old package. I was given false information by 2 different consultants. I even called the call centre twice and requested that a manager contacts me, but to no SURPRISE..I have not received my call back. I want my contract cancelled and I will never support Altech Autopage again. customers are misfed information and rippedof in broad daylight.
