ADSL Failure

New ADSL connection. Been over 3 months now and never stable.

Connection keeps dropping on downloads. Except for a speed of between 0.5mb and 3mb on a 4mb line. Cannot get 10mb line due to distance from junction box and old lines.

The main problem is when I download my connection will drop every 5 to 10 minutes. Loses connection and red light comes on then nothing... then my 3g failover kicks in. This is frustrating.

I get an email from telkom every time to advise that my connection is working. Nonsense. It works for standard internet browsing.

SO WHY DO I HAVE A FASTEST DSL AND AN UNCAPPED LINE. WHY DO I PAY FOR THIS.

The only thing Telkom does every time is to reset the port or create a new port. So many times already. Wake up it is not working after the first TIME. It is the line between my house and junction box. They already replaced the line from the telephone pole to my house twice!!!
