I was advised by Mtn in East Rand mall to upgrade to a MTN Sharelink Wi-Fi modem in July 2012. On this unlimited package traffic up to 3G per month is at high speed - this has never happened.
I have experienced slow, intermittent or no service delivery since the upgrade and since I am a small business owner this severely impacts on my ability to earn a living as everything I do is internet based.
Because of the slow or intermittent service, downloads has to be attempted several times which impacts on the 3G that I am allowed at "high speed" every month - again Mtn benefits and not the customer!
The reference number that I use each time when phoning 1555 to complain about slow, intermittent or no internet access is SMC 00003414822. Today I was again assured by Jessie that she would come back to me which has of course, has not happened - Mtn does not give feedback to their customers!
