I recently renewed my contract with cell c and choose to my detriment, a Samsung S4. 2 weeks later the phone switched off and never turned on again. I called Cell C who advised my to take the phone to Darro Electronics in Boksburg (WHAT A MISTAKE). I took the phone into Darro Electronics and had to follow up on them the whole time. Eventually I was told that the motherboard and camera were replaced. When we collected the phone we received an obviously used second hand phone, NOT THE PHONE GIVEN. We phoned Cell C to advise them and were told that off what was done. We were then told that firstly, we were wrongly advised and should never have taken the phone to Darro and Secondly, now Cell C can not assist and if we wanted to cancel the contract we would be charged. What disgusting service, on Cell C's advice we sent hundreds of rand on diesel and received a second hand phone that I am paying premium for. After several years I will NEVER again renew my cell c contracts. I am seriously disappointed.
