I have a 1Mb dsl line; and after several tests the best download speed I'm getting is about 100kb/s. I know it's futile to report this via the normal channels, since they take so long to respond to complaints; that's why I'm resorting to social media channels. Recently they called me and offered me a 2Mb line for a little more; but what's it worth if the actual speed is 90% slower than their quoted speed. Isn't this contrary to their official advertising? Upload speeds is half that. When I got the line in the beginning, it was quoted as 384kb/s, but the best download speed then was about 45kb/s.
I hope Telkom will see this and advise if they can actually DO something about this?
