My cell phone was on Sunday and I had my number suspended telephonically on the same day. On Monday I went to the Garden Centre to deal with the problem, had to buy another handset and a sim swop. I was told it would take up to 24h to reconnect. I am still waiting 36h later, having been told that my ID number is incorrect and the details of my contract do not match my info. I have had an account with Mtn since 1994/5 during which period I have never been told such nonsense. I was equally badly treated the first time i had my phone, and this experience is not very good. It is traumatic enough having been relieved of a phone without being victimized a second time.
