I have to follow up on my new contract. Why?

My fianc? e phone Cell c 084 145 to apply for a new contract and a new phone. She submitted the documents (which i admit took a bit of time). But after we mailed the client centre 3 times to follow up on the application and no responds. This morning we phoned them to find out what is taking so long. They said there was a problem with her payslip because she didn't pay UIF.(reason being she is employed on n SAIPA trainee contract). Now she has to wait another week to get the phone. Because nobody could pick up a phone i tell her listen this is the problem or even just send an email. if we didn't phone how long would we have waited to find out. I this the service we can expect from Cell c?
