Good Morning
On the 31st August 2013 i took my IPHONE5 Instore (Canal Walk) to complain about my Battery swelling & due to the stainless back its elevating my LCD and my battery life is diminishing quicker than normal. as i awaiting positive feedback as my fone was only 8months old and still within my 1year Manufacturer warranty period.
I then recieved a call the 5th September to say that my phone is ready but they did not fix it because its BER & my warranty is "voided". i coud not believe this and was not happy with the response as i knew my phone was ina good condition with some 'wear & tear" and i knew Apple doesnt cover wear and tear, but wear and tear does not VOID MY WARRANTY!!!
The Consultant then suggested i get a letter from my Manufacturer to say my warranty is still valid, i then took my phone to the Apple Store, they done the inspection and gave me a letter, i then took the letter to the MTN Store & they were still giving me a hard time after i had proof that my warranty is valid.
Can you please assist me?
Will MTN just be losing a loyal customer? is our value that low to the company?
Can't MTN just claim and even use my letter as proof?
Thanks
