I bought an HD decoder and TV for my husband's birthday. I called Dishnet out to do the installation. Their original quote to connect it and install the extra view was around R2000. I accepted the quote asking them if I give you the money will everything work and with great big smiles they confirmed. As they were working they explained it will work out more due to cables. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for close to R5000. They then said for an additional R250 per point they can connect my other two tvs, I accepted the quote. They came back 3 times to finish the installation. Eventually it cost me another R2000. They then left and 2 of the tv's didnt work. They wanted more money to fix it. I refused and asked them to leave. Close to R7000 I still dont have all my tv's working. Another strange thing is that they gave me different account numbers to pay the money into. Biggest shock of all is when I looked at the installation, they used Ellie products, which I priced, and the installation should have costed me around R1500-R2000.. Don't use this company.
