I have informed 8ta/Telkom Mobile about internet speed degradation numerous times. Technician was sent to our home twice. Outcome; the signal is week and Telkom Mobile will push for a new tower in 2014. I was also told, I'm free to cancel. I have decided to give it few more weeks. However the situation got even worse. The only way to get internet was to place the modem and my laptop on the balcony. I have called the famous 8ta call center with a cancellation request. I was given a ticket number and told the line will be cancelled, there will be no cancellation fee as the line is not working. Today I have received an Invoice with R 800 cancellation fee.
