Battling now for a month to change service provide

I approach Autopage in May or June 2013 letting them know that I want to change service providers.
They confirmed that my contract will expire on the 7th of August and I need to give notice a month in advance.
On the 1st of July 2013 I send them the mail confirming that I will terminate my account with them and that I want to keep my number. They confirmed on the same day that it is in order and I can approach the provider of my choice. I did approach Nashua Mobile Menlyn on the 7th of August and it is now the 2 September and my number has still not been released from Autopage. I had several problems with Nashua Menlyn as I was on leave in Pretoria and actually residing in Knysna. My application is now with Nashua Knysna and they are also batteling to get the number release.
