I recently went to Cell C in Woodmead, Johannesburg and my husband took out my phone contract on his current contract. I ported my number from MTN. On Wednesday, my husband filled in all the forms and I received messages from Cell C on Thursday that the port had been done only to discover in the afternoon, that I couldn't make or receive any calls. I could receive and send messages but not calls. On Friday, the problem persisted. I called Cell C and spoke to a consultant who transferred me through to the team that deals with porting. I informed them that the phone was on my husbands name but they said that they could still assist. The person I spoke to told me that she'd logged a call (reference: sd142752) and that she was unsure of why I was unable to receive or make calls or messages but that it would be resolved within 24 - 72hours. The problem still exists today. I called this morning and was told that my husband needs to call and that the reference number doesn't exist and after 17minutes of holding, I requested to be put through to a manager but my call was cut. I need this sorted urgently. It's ridiculous that I've had this phone for 5days and cannot use it! Jodie
