Yesterday morning (28 August 2013) I woke to an sms that said my account has been suspended. My phone was locked, cannot make calls, s ms or use data.
My phone is intended for business calls etc. and I have not been able to use it. It is pathetic. All my scheduled business call meetings failed due to this. I was not warned about this happening.
No representative phone me to advise of the problem you are experiencing.
It is a brand new contract, I gave my business banking details, not knowing that the account cannot be debited. Yesterday morning, 08:30 I settled two months of bills totaling /-R3500.
I was promised a reactivation between 5-8hours. I visited the Telkom office in Bayside Centre. I spoke to a lady called Nandi.
I emailed my proof of payment to her, with my banking details. It seems that you are experiencing a problem registering a Rand Merchant Bank account on your system, seeing that all bank accounts are pre-loaded.
Yesterday afternoon I did not hear anything from her again.
I phoned a lady called Lalla this morning, emailed her proof of payment, she said she would phone me back, did not do so. Apparently all management has already left the offices.
