I took out a new contract with 8ta mobile and requested that my number be ported. This was not done properly because I struggle with network issues and sending SMS's. The contract I took out I was told was a top up, this is not the case as I cannot load airtime on my phone after I have reached the limit. I also requested that they change this number to pre-paid (0814770500, this has also not been done.
I have a number that is not working properly, the contract I took out was not what I was sold in store and the number porting is not working. I am going to take this to the consumer ombudsman if no one is willing to resolve this for me and use this complaint as proof that I have attempted to get this resolved as I am tired of going back and forth to Telkom branches and receive no assistance.
