For ages now I have been struggling with Afrihost about my line speed.
They claim they do not throttle my line speed as I pay for a capped account (which is considerably more expensive). However, when we work late at night its like lightning, and during the day I struggle to open google. There are only 2 of us that use the internet here.
They without a doubt are throttling my account! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR WORDING ON THEIR PRODUCT PAGE.
On top of this, their systems crashed today and there was no way for anyone to know when the problem would be resolved. Their call centre simply said, "Our technicians are attending to this problem"
Rather stick with another ISP as they are a bunch of artists! I will be taking this further on Social media.
